It’s your favorite leadership development coordinator here with another exciting Wilderness First Aid course being offered right here at UMass Amherst the weekend of February 5-6. Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is an awesome 2-day, 16-hour course that covers the basics of emergency preparation and medicine in the backcountry. It’s an excellent course for anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors, and is required for leadership in many activities in UMOC. It also is required for many jobs in the outdoor/guiding industry!
The course will run from 10-6:30 both days with a break for lunch and will take place entirely on the UMass Campus. The course cost is typically $200 for WFA and $245 for WFA and CPR.
